Very narrow aisle racking makes excellent use of floor space by allowing VNA forklift trucks to operate in aisles that are up to half the width needed in traditional adjustable beam pallet racking, which also maximizes the height at which goods can be stacked.
They are also useful when there are not enough pick slots available on the ground. In these circumstances, elevated order picking on both sides of the aisle can be done using a man-up order picker truck
