Double Deep Pallet Racking

Double deep pallet racking, provides better storage density, compared to selective pallet racking. Pallets are stored two-deep, cutting the number of access aisles by about half in any given area, while access and stock rotation is compromised compared to single deep pallet racking.

Double Deep system requires the use of a specialist reach truck or an attachment fitted to the reach truck to place and retrieve pallets from the second slot in the racks.

This system however, provides an excellent method of increasing warehouse capacity or when alternative systems are not possible.

In industrial environments, double-deep pallet racking maximises storage capacity by enabling the storage of two pallets in a single-depth position. This method is frequently used in warehouses with high inventory levels since it boosts efficiency and optimises space utilisation. TopShelf has years of reputation for delivering top-quality double-deep pallet racking across industries.
